Uncle Jack’s Margarita Recipe

I’ve been given permission to share my Uncle Jack’s Margarita Recipe with you! This is huge because it’s the nicest margarita I’ve ever had!!! Seriously delicious (and I’m not usually a fan of Tequilla). Here are Uncle Jack’s top tips & method for making his signature margarita…

The key to making a top notch margarita is to use 100% pure Agave Tequila. It’s a little more expensive than lower shelf stuff but definitely worth it.  Also, Cointreau is preferred over Triple Sec.

Shake Together with Ice:

• 2 parts Reposado 1800 (Uncle Jack’s favourite Tequilla – and I must say, it’s delicious)

• 1 part Cointreau

• 1/2 part Sweet & Sour Drink Mix

Strain over rocks. Or, if you prefer, blend ice & Margarita together to make a frozen Margarita.

Kosher salt on the wet rim of a martini glass looks quite nice when garnished with a slice of lime.
