Sugoi Mart is a Japanese online store that ships all over the world, providing everything that Japan has to offer. From snacks, chocolates, and anime to toys and collectables. They have a huge range of goodies! And all of it features fun, bright and colourful Japanese designs. They have incredibly good reviews and a huge following.
Sugoi Mart was kind enough to send us a package full of Japanese snacks and treats from their online store. Needless to say, we were super excited to try a taste of Japan!

Snacks from Japan
Our package arrived quickly and contained so many goodies! We really enjoyed seeing the Japanese designs, colours and graphics on the packages. I used google translate to see what the various flavours and ingredients were of the items. It's really fun to see such different combinations and flavours than what we have here!
As you can see in the photos below, we received a variety of chocolates, gummies, snacks, drinks and noodles. A wonderful selection to give us a proper tasting party!
Inside the Variety Packs
Inside the black bag that you saw in the photos above, is their Japanese Chips Variety Pack (crisps for my Irish readers). And inside the red bag is their Kit Kats Variety Pack. I've learned that there are 300 different varieties of Kit Kats in Japan including Cheesecake, sweet potato, white chocolate, and pistachio. We have had a great time tasting these! Family favourites are the pistachio and cheesecake.
Having a Taste
As soon as the above photos were taken, we dove straight in! lol Sure how could we resist? The Cherry Blossom Cola and Pear Fanta were both delicious and so different from what we are used to here. All of the chocolate snacks and gummies went down a real treat. We have sampled a taste out of most items but have a few left here to try over the coming days.
Everything is packaged so well and with the help of google translate, we could easily learn what the flavours and ingredients are on each item. And Little Miss was delighted to find a little unicorn keychain attached to the back of the gummies pack.
Final Thoughts
We have really enjoyed this very unique experience of getting to try some Japanese snacks, straight from Japan, complete with their authentic packaging. They came very well packaged and quickly in the post. I'd highly recommend this if you'd like a cheeky taste of Japan! The novelty of trying these snacks has been so fun!
