Making the right choices for our Galway weekend away outfits was essential! With five of us in the family, I can easily end up over packing. I was determined to keep within one suitcase, a nappy / diaper bag, a backpack for toys & a shopping back with snacks for the hotel. I’m happy to say that I did it! Whoop! Everything except “blue teddy” fit in the bags.
I kept the bulk down by bringing one pair of sandals & one handbag. I went with my Marc by Marc Jacobs hobo bag which I adore & use it both for day & evening wear. Plus, it can hold everything I’d want for a day around town.
We left Friday morning & were home again Sunday evening. On Friday, we went to the aquarium & had dinner at The Connacht Hotel where we were staying. I wore this Calvin Klein dress – it’s so comfy & I got it for a steal at TJ Max (shhh don’t tell!).
On Saturday, we attended the Oyster Festival then went out for dinner in Galway city center. We didn’t get back to the hotel until the evening so I wanted a comfy dress but also wanted to look nice. I choose this outfit which is a real favorite of mine!
Dress by Stella Morgan, cardigan by Miss Sixty, sandals by Gios Eppo.
On Sunday, our last day away, I attended the ITWBN event at Glenlo Abbey Hotel. It was my first ever blogger event & I wanted to be dressy! I was flat out taking photos & updating my social media. I’m off to another ITWBN event this Sunday – follow me on Instagram, Twitter & Snapchat (cuddlefairy1) to stay updated on the event!
